Dr Claire Smyth is a General Paediatrician with additional training in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. She works with children and adolescents presenting with a broad range of general paediatric, developmental, and behavioural concerns.
Claire completed her medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2012 before returning to Australia to undertake specialist training through the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. Alongside her work at The Berry Street Clinic, she continues to work across both private and public healthcare settings.
Her clinical interests include developmental and behavioural concerns such as ADHD and autism, neonatal health, growth and feeding issues, food intolerance and allergy, tic disorders, and common childhood illnesses. Her emergency medicine training has also provided extensive experience managing complex or undifferentiated presentations in children.
Claire is passionate about empowering families through knowledge and shared decision-making. She believes that working collaboratively with families leads to the best health outcomes for children.
