David Long is a Clinical Neuropsychology Registrar with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the business manager here at The Berry Street Clinic.

David completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) at the University of New South Wales, before completing his Master of Clinical Neuropsychology at Macquarie University. His clinical and hospital training focused on understanding how neurological, developmental, and medical factors influence cognition, learning, behaviour, and everyday functioning at different stages of life.

David has experience conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a range of developmental, neurological, and neurodegenerative conditions. He has a particular interest in developmental presentations, including Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Disorders, and Intellectual Disability.

Before entering psychology, David completed degrees in engineering and business and spent over 15 years working in project and business management across both government and private industry. As such, David also works within the clinic’s operational team and plays a key role in the development and growth of The Berry Street Clinic’s multidisciplinary services.
