Dr Sarah Ford (she/her) is a General Paediatrician and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She works with children and adolescents across a range of developmental, behavioural, and medical concerns, with a particular focus on supporting young people during the transition into adolescence and young adulthood.

Sarah graduated from The Australian National University and completed her paediatric training at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She has undertaken additional fellowship training in Adolescent Health, including fellowship years at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

Sarah believes in a holistic, patient- and family-centred approach to care informed by evidence-based practice. She recognises the importance of collaboration between young people, their families, and health professionals in achieving the best outcomes. Sarah is currently a Staff Specialist in the Department of Adolescent Medicine at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Her particular interests include gender diversity, eating disorders, adolescent mental health, and supporting young people with chronic or complex health needs.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and is kept busy running around after her three young children.
